Christopher Windom - Director/Choreographer
Excellence Award for best choreography and an Honorable Mention for directing Central Avenue Breakdown. Dean Goodman Choice Award for best choreography for Ragtime at TheatreWorks in California’s Bay Area. Directing: The Beard by Paul Mancini, A Christmas Carol, The Three Times She Knocked, Church Basement Ladies, Clue: the Musical, Big River, Chicago, Our Country’s Good, Mo’Reece and the Girls by Jackie Sibblies, TOT! by Ian McDonald, Blood Knot, The Tempest, and Woyzeck. Choreography: Dessa Rose, Crowns, Oklahoma!, Chicago, My Fair Lady, Swing!, Gypsy, Bye, Bye, End in the Tony Award winning shows Fosse and Damn Yankees, starring Jerry Lewis. Christopher has performed on Broadway, National Tours and London’s West End. He has also performed at the St. Louis Repertory Theater, The Cincinnati Playhouse, Paper Mill Playhouse, St. Louis MUNY, Stages St. Louis and the Sacramento Music Circus. Jisun Kim - Scenic Design
Jisun Kim is excited to be working on this production of Central Avenue Breakdown for DIMF and NYMF at the same time. She has worked as a set designer, scenic painter and interior designer. Her set design credits include Dally with the Devil (Theatre Row), New Play Festival 2011 for LPTW, Carnival Round the Central Figure (IRT), The Bilbao Effect (AIA), Thoroughly Modern Millie (NMHS) and Browntown (2004 Fringe NYC). She has worked for several Broadway shows including Desire under Elms. MFA from Mason Gross Art School at Rutgers.
T. Pope Jackson - Technical Director - NYMF
T. Pope Jackson a multiple award winning Harlem native, completing his first award winning documentary while still attending high school. Pope is proud to be apart of “Central Avenue Breakdown” He started his own Production company Actuator Inc & Award Winning Design team Onyx Arts. Pope received recognition for advocating & educating the learned behavior of Domestic Violence through a Proclamation from the Mayor of NYC, Michael R. Bloomberg, deeming Oct 30, 2009 the "Death of a Dream" day, won the NY 48 hour Film Project(2005), worked on a Grammy nominated album with Wynton Marsalis (2006) & has Stage Managed at the World Famous Apollo Theater.For more info check out www.ActuatorInc.com
